Review of The Legend of Hanuman S4 Episodes 1 and 2

Disney+ Hotstar’s compelling selection of movies and web series on the site has captured the attention of viewers. One of the streamer’s popular shows that has viewers glued to their mobile devices is The Legend of Hanuman.

The Legend of Hanuman Season 4 is directed by Jeevan J. Kang and Navin John, with production handled by Graphic India. It is not like any animated show or movie that we have ever seen that is based on a myth. I found The Legend of Hanuman Season 4 to be an exceptionally well-made animated series that captured my attention from the very beginning.

The Narrative

The fourth season recounts the narrative of Lord Ram’s great fight with Ravana. Ravana wants his brother Kumbhkaran’s assistance in the current war. The fourth season’s opening sequence has Kumbhkaran taking against the Vanar Sena, which is led by Lord Sugriva. The devil threatens the Vanar Sena to stand aside or he will destroy them all. They attempt to attack Kumbhkaran but fail. Later, Lord Hanuman and Lord Sugriva accept the challenge to destroy Kumbhkaran. Even when Lord Hanuman’s efforts fail in a confrontation with Kumbhkaran, the demon transports Lord Sugriva to his brother Ravana’s Lanka. Here comes the big twist! Lord Sugriva is held captive in Lanka while Lord Hanuman tries to put permutations and combinations in place to set him free.

Execution and Visual Appeal

The story seems thrilling, but what elevates it is its execution. The effort made by creators Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang, and Charuvi Agrawal to keep this animated series genuine to the ancient narrative pays off. There are no dull moments in the first two episodes of The Legend of Hanuman Season 4.

VFX and Voice Acting

Another intriguing aspect is the near-perfect use of VFX in the series. It not only enhances the visual attractiveness of The Legend of Hanuman 4, but it also explores the mythical epic’s truth. The dialogues spoken by Sharad Kelkar, Damandeep Singh Bagga, and other performers are very well coordinated.

Final Thoughts

However, certain phrases are a letdown since they are clichéd. It appears that the creators purposefully constructed such lines to make an effect. However, when you hear the characters speak such phrases, they seem very silly. Aside from that, the creators may have avoided using comedy in the tale.
