This question has sparked curiosity among fans after a picture of the Bollywood star taken during the filming of one of his upcoming movies went viral on social media. The actor appears in the previously mentioned picture with a whole new avatar.
A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) first published the image. Varun appears to have long hair and a mustache. Netizens quickly likened his appearance to that of online celebrity Dolly Chaiwala when the photo went viral. Many others asserted that the actor was working on Dolly Chaiwala’s biography due to his likeness to the tea seller in the widely shared image.
Varun can be seen wearing a red jacket, white shirt, and black jeans. A black tie completed his outfit. Posing with his admirers, the actor is spotted looking dapper.
One social media user posted the image with the caption, “Varun Dhawan starts preparing for Dolly Chaiwala biopic.”
Who is Dolly Chaiwala?
While his true identity is unclear, Dolly Chaiwala became well-known after meeting Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Dolly offers tea at a roadside kiosk in Nagpur. His distinct way of preparing tea has caused his videos to become viral on social media platforms.
Meanwhile, Varun is expecting his first child with wife Natasha Dalal. Varun was most recently seen in Bawaal, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. He’ll reconnect with Janhvi in Karan Johar’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Aside from them, the film features Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul. The film is scheduled for release on April 18, 2025.
